Within a short drive of two kilometres (20 mins walking) there is a bar/grocery shop with restaurant, that has all basic provisions (pasta, cheese, milk, bread, water, wine etc.) Cortona, a beautiful hilltop town to both explore and enjoy, is at a distance of 15 minutes by car.

The 10 x 5 metres swimming pool which is situated on the terrace below the house (and accessed by steps with a gate at the top for children), is a walk in pool (scale Romane) with diving board. It is surrounded by a patio where one can lie out on comfortable sun beds, shaded if desired by a large sun shade. A pergola, accessed by the kitchen and dining room, runs the full length of the house and offers a wonderful view from where one can dine out 'al fresco'.
There is also a beautiful hand built barbecue which is always a source of pleasure. Comfortable outside seating is provided.
Cortona is an ideal location from which to make day trips to most of Tuscany and Umbria's famous cities. The E45 or A1 motorways are within a 20 minute radius. Camucia station (Rome-Florence-Milan line) is 25 minutes away. By car: Montepulciano 30 mins, Perugia 40 mins, Siena 50 mins, Assisi 50 mins, Deruta 1hr, Florence 1hr 30 mins.

We ask a deposit of 30% for bookings made early in the year or up to eight weeks prior to an arrival. For bookings made within eight weeks of arrival, we request full payment. A damages deposit of 750 Euro is requested on your arrival. This can be paid in cash or by cheque. It will be returned to you on the day of your departure unless damages have been incurred. We are not worried about the odd glass or plate being broken. Our concern is with more costly items being broken or ruined.
Changeover day is Friday. Arrival time is 5pm. We can however arrange for you to leave bags at the house earlier in the day if necessary. This must be agreed by previous arrangement. Departure time is 10 am at the very latest.
Towels and linen are included. The property is cleaned once a week when all towels and linen are also changed. Pool towels are also provided.
